VSRA

The meeting on the 20th went well. VSRA is taking new direction- or maybe a more focused direction. Keeler has welcomed some new members to the group in the hopes of bringing fresh ideas and more science in from different angles and disciplines. It’s hard to commit to the time to do research on a voluntary basis when you work and have families. More people means more opportunities to get some research done. I know I have not accomplished my goals in the downtime between tour seasons! Ugh, it’s time to step up and get on it!
The next meeting is February 10th at the Greentree Restaurant at 2:00pm. This meeting will be open to the public, but I must warn you, there may be contracts involved. If you’re serious about paranormal investigation and think you might have something to offer (including your time), please come and check it out.

It’s been a fun October so far- I’m happy to see the weather is behaving in a more seasonal manner, though I must admit it’s been wonderful doing ghost tours in short sleeves. Drop us a line if you have a comment or question.

Another nice night, though a little on the chilly side. I can’t keep saying the same thing over and over- “I had the nicest people on my tour tonight….” because that would get dull, but it’s true. If anyone who has been on my tour is reading this, I really did enjoy having you! Send e-mail if you have any questions. Is there anything we need on the website that seems to be missing? (I know the trips link doesn’t go anywhere yet…we’re still organizing) We’ve been having some decent luck at the Touch A Ghost site, even though the solar activity has been quiet. Believe me, as soon as that gadget on the home page says HIGH, I’m running out there with the tri-field. At least my tour groups are experiencing the residual fields. Tonight was funny- three women came out of Payne’s Biker Bar across the street and saw us all out there (looking mighty silly batting the air, I’m sure) and one finally got the nerve to come over and ask what we were doing. I explained just a bit and had her feel the residual field while her friends were across the street practically wetting themselves laughing. When the tour left, however, all three of them were feeling around for the residuals. I got a chance to look back over my shoulder from the sidewalk and, yes, we do look like idiots walking around with our arms out, batting the air! Too funny!
